Timberwolves sign Ridnour
The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed point guard Luke Ridnour to a four-year contract worth $16 million.
Ridnour averaged 10.4 points and 4.0 assists per game last year with the Milwaukee Bucks as the backup to Brandon Jennings.
Several teams expressed an interest in Ridnour, with the Miami Heat being one of the most aggressive.
The Timberwolves might have significantly overpaid for Ridnour, but they were desperate to give Johnny Flynn some help.
Minnesota is still waiting for former first-round pick Ricky Rubio to make his way over from Europe and join the team.
